Home Check-Up Inspections in Rockville, MD
Home inspections aren’t just for when you’re buying a new home.
Check on the condition of the important pieces of your property at any time with a home check-up inspection by Inspections by Bob!
Our check-up inspections work very similarly to our home inspections: One of our inspectors thoroughly checks your home, inside and out, taking photos and making notes along the way. You are welcome and encouraged to attend and accompany the inspector, as you can ask questions and learn more about the proper function and maintenance of some of your home’s systems.
After the inspection, you receive a complete digital inspection report. This report covers the current condition of many elements of your home, and lists any areas of concern.
Items that are hazards or in imminent danger of breaking down are noted as needing prompt attention. Other items that may not be such a hazard but are still of concern are listed on the report, as well as a recommended course of action.
A check-up home inspection is great if you’ve been living in your home for a few years and just want to know how your key systems, such as furnace, water heater, and foundation, are doing and if you need to plan for expensive repairs or replacements.
With a check-up inspection from Inspections by Bob, you can rest easy knowing the overall condition of your home and anticipate some future costs before they become emergencies.
Pre-Listing Home Inspections in Rockville, MD
Why wait until your home is nearly sold to find out there’s a major issue that needs repair?
Instead, get a pre-listing home inspection and know the condition of your home and, if necessary, make any repairs before it’s even listed.
A pre-listing home inspection saves you time, money, and frustration during the sales process.
Rather than getting a great offer on your home only to discover you’ve got to lay out thousands of dollars to repair a water pipe or replace a furnace, you could have that information before you’ve ever listed your home. This allows you to better budget for the repair and take your time hiring a contractor that isn’t going to charge you extra for rush work.
Or, if you decide not to make the repair yourself, you can adjust your listing price to reflect that the home will need repairs after purchase.
Our pre-listing home inspections are the same as the inspections we conduct after an offer has been made.
We check through your home, inside and out, and gather information on the condition of its vital components. Your inspection report includes our assessment of the most worrisome issues with your property, and you can take this information to your real estate agent and discuss which are worth repairing and which are best to just leave.
A pre-listing home inspection builds confidence with potential buyers, as they can physically see that the home has been inspected recently. They go into the sale knowing that there shouldn’t be any nasty surprises after they’ve already fallen in love with the home and put in an offer.
